Bridge Mental Health Care Center is founded in 2022 by Dr. Omar Almedfer, consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist, who combines years of experience in the psychiatry filled domain. His career has been devoted to changing attitudes toward the psychiatry field in order to treat his clients as individuals and not as patients. He helps his clients recover by fully making them understand and accept the nature of their difficulties and by drawing connections through their needs, stories, values, social backgrounds, cultures, passions, and purposes.
Dr. Omar and his Bridge team aim to implement in light of the vision 2030 a comprehensive developmental vision in the mental health services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that demystifies and destigmatizes the field of psychiatry.
The team’s priority is to focus not only on the whole person but also on the whole family which would lead to better outcomes that would last.
Its main purpose is also to provide withdrawn persons that may have lingering mental problems with the confidence and skills they need irrespective of their social backgrounds, races, and cultures by taking into consideration their needs, goals, and aspirations through counselling, information, and advice.
